The structural work we carry out in Mallorca
We always work to a structural design, under technical supervision. The diagnosis is based on exploratory openings, not on assumptions.
Floor slab strengthening
Steel sections, shear connectors and a concrete topping on timber or concrete floors that have sagged.
Beam replacement
Removal of joists damaged by damp or woodworm and installation of new ones under controlled propping.
Concrete defects and aluminosis
Passivation of the reinforcing bars, rebuilding with structural repair mortar and strengthening wherever the calculations call for it.
Openings in load-bearing walls
Engineered lintel, temporary propping, the works themselves and the permit paperwork, to knock rooms through or open up a façade.
Underpinning
Micropiles or mass-concrete underpinning in bays, for differential settlement in village houses.
Propping and stabilisation
Emergency stabilisation of at-risk elements while the full structural design is drawn up.
